Three things every applicant misses
NSFAS is the baseline. Even if you plan to apply for a corporate bursary, submit NSFAS first. Corporate bursaries are competitive — NSFAS is needs-based. Applications open in September for the following year.
Most corporate bursaries require Grade 11 results and a mid-year Grade 12 report. They offer conditional places before November exams. Apply in your Grade 12 year, mid-year.
Approximately 75% of the bursaries in this database specifically require Mathematics — not Mathematical Literacy. If you are in Grade 10, the decision you make now about which mathematics course to take will determine which bursaries you can access.
